Resumen
Las metáforas del "frió corazón y el "autómata" presentes en el discurso poético de los románticos alemanes son analizadas como manifestación no solo psicológica de sus respectivos autores, sino como expresiones de un malestar mas general: el conflicto moderno, consustancial a la sociedad burguesa, entre razón y corazón. En este contexto, dichas metáforas cobran un sentido más amplio, expresando una critica a la enajenación y escisión individual y social dominante. No obstante que estas metáforas nos hablan desde un horizonte histórico especifico (finales del siglo XVIII y principios del I(IX) su contenido critico sigue siendo valido y vigente en la actualidad.
Abstract
The essay presents an analysis of the metaphors "cold heart" and the "automaton", as important motives in the poetic discourse of romantic German literature. These are understood not only as expressions of psychological constellations of their respective authors but as manifestations of a more general (and social) conflict that opposes reason to emotion (heart). It is in this context that these metaphors imply a critique to the dominant alienation in economics, social and emotional life. Even though these metaphors do refer to a particular historical horizon (the end of the eighteenth and the beginning of the nineteenth century) today they remain present in the comunitary poetical discourse, still implying a critique to the dominant of that same split between reason and emotion in general and specific social contexts.
